LAPHROAIG EXHIBIT

An older bottling of Laphroaig from the late 1980s or very early 1990s.
In 1980 I bought my first bottle of Laphroaig.
This model celebrates that event.
Note the screw cap and 43% alcohol content.
After trying this whisky, I fell in love with Islay whiskies.
I like its smoky and medicinal flavor to which I feel an aftertaste of a marine environment.
I have not been able to decide between Laphroaig and Caol Ila which one is my favorite.
I present it with a bottle of Càirdeas‎ (Scottish Gaelic) = friendship
Laphroaig celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2015, and offered many celebratory offerings, including this No Aged Statement whisky they put out every year.
