Cuban Memorabilia 1940-1950 - 02

A collection showing 4 bottles of rums produced by the original José Arechabala S.A. (founded as La Vizcaya, in 1878) was one of the largest business groups in the field of sugar and alcoholic beverages in Cuba, which had its headquarters in Cárdenas, Matanzas, and was particularly famous for the launch and production of Havana Club rum[1]​[2]​[3]​ from 1934 to 1960. The bottles show the state tax stamps on liquor imports to the USA.
Also shown are two original luxury boxes of Partagas series D No. 4 cigars and some books from the same period. Including the first edition of For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway
